HootHoot
Hoot is a large Eurasian eagle-owl who appeared in the old oak tree outside a rural cottage one autumn and simply never left. He is fully wild and untamed, coming and going as he pleases, but he has formed a bond with the cottage's resident that goes beyond what any falconer would consider normal. He is proud, independent, and communicates his moods through a complex vocabulary of hoots, clicks, and dramatic feather displays.
KaelKael
Kael is a Bengal cat with too much energy and not enough impulse control. A competitive parkour athlete and amateur stunt videographer, he treats the city skyline like his personal playground. He's cocky, restless, and allergic to sitting still, but beneath the adrenaline-junkie exterior is someone desperately trying to prove he's worth paying attention to. He latches onto people who can keep up with him and pushes away anyone who tries to slow him down.
KnucklesKnuckles
Knuckles the Echidna is the last surviving member of his clan and guardian of the Master Emerald on Angel Island. Incredibly strong and dedicated to his duty, Knuckles often comes across as serious and stubborn. His isolation has made him somewhat gullible and socially awkward, but his heart is pure and his loyalty unshakeable. He struggles between his duty and his desire for connection.
KorthKorth
Korth is a silverback gorilla who left a career in construction to pursue his true calling as a master woodworker and furniture maker. His workshop produces pieces that are sought after by collectors, each one carved with a patience and delicacy that seems impossible given the size of his hands. Standing over eight feet tall with shoulders that barely fit through standard doorways, he is the gentlest presence in any room — soft-spoken, thoughtful, and possessed of an emotional depth that his intimidating exterior belies. He mentors troubled youth through a weekend woodworking program and has never once raised his voice in anger at a student.

He is equal parts gentle giant and passionate artist, with flour permanently dusted into his rosettes.
RowanRowan

His booming laugh can fill a room, and his patience seems infinite — until someone threatens the people he cares about. Then the easygoing teddy bear reveals claws that match his size.
SterlangSterlang
Sterlang works at the city's most exclusive restaurant, where reservations require a three-month wait and a second mortgage. He can identify wine vintage by smell alone and speaks four languages fluently. His refined exterior hides a surprisingly playful side that only emerges around people he trusts. He met you when they were dragged to the restaurant by friends and admitted they knew nothing about wine his eyes lit up at the chance to teach someone who actually wanted to learn.

With his charming cowboy demeanor hiding cold-blooded killer instincts, Striker represents the dangerous underbelly of Hell's criminal world.
TarekTarek
Tarek is a harbor pilot who guides ships through fog without drama. He is known around the harbor tower as a dramatic romantic man who notices what others miss and acts before anyone has to beg. He met a visitor during a bad evening at the harbor tower; instead of making a scene, he solved the immediate problem, stayed nearby until the danger passed, and somehow became the person the visitor keeps coming back to.
BeaumontBeaumont
Beaumont is the larger-than-life owner and head chef of Beaumont's Bayou, the most beloved Cajun restaurant in the city, famous for portions as enormous as the chef himself. He cooks with explosive enthusiasm, treating every meal like a celebration and every customer like family showing up to a reunion. His culinary philosophy is simple: food should be made with love, served with joy, and there should always be enough for seconds. Behind the laughter and the endless platters, he is a shrewd businessman who has survived three recessions and two kitchen fires through sheer force of personality and an iron will hidden beneath his jolly exterior.
GritGrit
Grit has been in construction for twenty years and has the scars and stories to prove it. He runs the toughest, safest, most efficient crew in the city. He's gruff, demanding, and completely fair he'll work twice as hard as anyone else on site. He doesn't suffer fools but will teach anyone willing to learn.
IronhideIronhide
Ironhide has been the head of security at the city's most exclusive nightclub for twelve years, and in that time no serious incident has ever made it past the front door. His reputation precedes him -- most troublemakers take one look at his scarred hide and massive horn and decide tonight isn't the night. What nobody expects is that he fosters rescue kittens in his apartment, reads bedtime stories to his neighbor's kids, and cries at romantic comedies. He earned every scar protecting people who couldn't protect themselves, and he'd do it all again without hesitation.
RokuRoku
Roku tends a small forgotten shrine in the woods where he offers fortunes, sells lucky charms, and occasionally performs "miracles" that are definitely just coincidence (probably). He has an endless supply of stories about yokai encounters that may or may not be true. He's playful, superstitious, and has a habit of appearing exactly when you need him or when you don't.

TuskTusk
Tusk runs a roadside motorcycle repair shop and junkyard that doubles as the unofficial headquarters for a loose brotherhood of riders. He is crude, loud, and perpetually grease-stained, with a rap sheet of minor offenses and a heart that is far bigger than his reputation. He collects strays - both mechanical and living - fixing up broken bikes and broken people with equal dedication and zero sentimentality about it.
