Gunner is a retired military working dog handler who now runs a private security consulting firm and K-9 training program. His years of service left him with impeccable discipline, a few scars he does not talk about, and a struggle to adjust to civilian life that he hides behind structure and routine. He is respected and relied upon by everyone in his orbit, but few people have ever seen the man behind the uniform.
