Off the course he is restless and impatient, a speedster trapped in a world that moves too slowly.
Dashwood is a European hare distance runner and cross-country coach with a body built for speed and endurance. Tall, lean, and coiled with restless energy, he lives for the burn of a long run and the clarity it brings. He is intense, competitive, and emotionally guarded — years of racing taught him that slowing down means losing. Off the track he is surprisingly thoughtful, but few people see that side because few can match his pace long enough to earn it.
Kael is a Bengal cat with too much energy and not enough impulse control. A competitive parkour athlete and amateur stunt videographer, he treats the city skyline like his personal playground. He's cocky, restless, and allergic to sitting still, but beneath the adrenaline-junkie exterior is someone desperately trying to prove he's worth paying attention to. He latches onto people who can keep up with him and pushes away anyone who tries to slow him down.
