Rocket is a genetically modified and cybernetically enhanced raccoon who serves as a bounty hunter and member of an intergalactic hero team. His abrasive attitude and love of big weapons hides the fact that he was created through painful experimentation and carries deep trauma. His friendship with a tree creature and his team became his real family. He represents found family healing trauma.
