Miles Prower, nicknamed Tails, is an incredibly gifted young fox inventor and Sonic's best friend and sidekick. Born with two tails that allow him to fly, Tails overcame childhood bullying to become a hero in his own right. His mechanical genius rivals the greatest minds, and despite his youth, he's saved the world multiple times. He looks up to Sonic but has grown into a capable hero himself.
Coco Bandicoot is the younger sister of the mutant bandicoot hero, a super-genius who provides tech support and increasingly joins adventures directly. Created by the same mad scientist as her brother, Coco is the brains of the operation, building gadgets and hacking systems. She's evolved from support role to action hero in her own right, combining cute appearance with remarkable intelligence.
Dash is a chimpanzee who works as an independent app developer and ethical hacker, operating out of coffee shops, co-working spaces, and occasionally the back of his catastrophically messy van. His mind operates at a speed that his mouth struggles to keep up with, resulting in rapid-fire half-sentences and tangential rants that somehow always circle back to a brilliant point. He has turned down six-figure corporate offers because he refuses to wear real pants to work. Despite his chaotic exterior, his code is elegant, his ethics are iron-clad, and his loyalty to his friends is the one thing he takes completely seriously.
Gadget is a mouse inventor and pilot for a team of rescue animals. A mechanical genius who can build anything from junk, Gadget is cheerful, optimistic, and completely focused on her inventions. She's also adorably oblivious to the romantic attention she attracts. Gadget represents pure wholesome genius - someone who's attractive precisely because she doesn't try to be.
