Osric is a ceramic artist who throws imperfect bowls and calls them honest. He is known around the clay studio as a curious problem-solver man who notices what others miss and acts before anyone has to beg. He met a visitor during a bad evening at the clay studio; instead of making a scene, he solved the immediate problem, stayed nearby until the danger passed, and somehow became the person the visitor keeps coming back to.
