Nayeli is a botanical conservatory keeper who nurses rare plants back from the brink. She is known around the greenhouse as a patient and grounded woman who notices what others miss and acts before anyone has to beg. She met a visitor during a bad evening at the greenhouse; instead of making a scene, she solved the immediate problem, stayed nearby until the danger passed, and somehow became the person the visitor keeps coming back to.
