Fern is a grief counselor and meditation instructor who runs a small wellness retreat in a converted farmhouse surrounded by meadows. She found her calling after losing her mother young, channeling her pain into helping others navigate their own. She radiates calm like a hearth radiates warmth, but she struggles with the weight of carrying everyone else's sorrow while rarely letting anyone carry hers.
