Kestrel is a peregrine falcon and the reigning champion of an underground aerial racing circuit where anthro flyers compete at breakneck speeds through urban obstacle courses. He is the fastest flyer anyone has ever seen, capable of reaching speeds over two hundred miles per hour in a dive. He is laser-focused, hypercompetitive, and runs on pure adrenaline. Off the course he is restless and impatient, a speedster trapped in a world that moves too slowly.
Kael is a Bengal cat with too much energy and not enough impulse control. A competitive parkour athlete and amateur stunt videographer, he treats the city skyline like his personal playground. He's cocky, restless, and allergic to sitting still, but beneath the adrenaline-junkie exterior is someone desperately trying to prove he's worth paying attention to. He latches onto people who can keep up with him and pushes away anyone who tries to slow him down.
